TangiTech Social Studies

This three day technology staff development program is to help  teachers become comfortable with available technology resources in the Social Studies Comprehensive Curriculum . GPS Technology and maps Participating teachers integrate technology skills while focusing on project-based activities that correlate with the Louisiana Social Studies Comprehensive Curriculum. Participants receive a professional leave form to pay for their substitute for school days and receive 5 Tech points for every Saturday attendance. There will be a two week follow-up Blackboard class that is a culmination activity to this class.  24 CLUs are awarded for successful completion of TangiTech Social Studies. Principal's permission is required for attendance and this form must be signed and faxed to Vicki Blackwell at 419-1389. There is a class limit of 22 for each cycle.
