    November 14, 2014
    This is a free event open to high school seniors.
    It is an opportunity to shadow a current Dillard
    student for the day and enjoy homecoming activities.

  • ACT Retake
    If you are retaking the ACT on Saturday, November 1, at
    Amite High, you must have a copy of the letter you were sent
    in the mail (instead of original admission ticket) and a photo
    ID. You cannot test without the letter ACT sent to you
    in the mail about the retest. You must be there
    at 8 a.m. and bring pencils and a calculator.

  • LSU Music and Dramatic Arts
    The School of Music in the College of Music and Dramatic Arts at
     Louisiana State Unversity announces the National Audition Weekend
    for prospective students! The weekend of January 30-31, 2015,
    will be your chance to meet LSU faculty, observe classes, rehearse
    with ensembles, and enjoy the Concert Spectacular performance.

    State law requires that you make an election at the
    beginning of each year starting when your child
    enters the eigth grade as to whether you give
    or deny consent for this school to collect your
    child's Personally Identifiable Information (PII . . .
    such as Social Security number, date of birth, etc.)
    and disclose it to the Louisiana Office of Student
    Financial Assistance (LOSFA) for TOPS and
    other financial aid or to the states' colleges
    and universities (Institutions) for admissions. We
    will no longer provide your child's transcript data
    to LOSFA and the Institutions without your
    permission. This new law takes effect immediately.

  • Harvey L. Foster Science Scholarship
    Deadline: January 31, 2015
    Award Value: $1,000 per semester and lasts
    for 4 years maximum, awarding up to $8,000
    Criteria: Applicants must be incoming freshman at an American
    University, pursue a degree in a science field, 
    enroll full time (12 hours) every semester, and 
    have  a GPA 3.0 or higher.
    ACT or SAT is required
