  • College Admission Fee Waiver

    Many colleges and universities will consider
    waiving or deferring the admission application fee
    for students who have been granted an ACT Fee Waiver.
    Ms. Brignac will have this request form.

    The ACT will be taking steps to stop collecting
    Social Security Numbers.
    They will use an ACT ID number.

  • Dress Down Day 

    On Thursday, in support of our Cowboys 
    as they head off to the Jamboree,
    we are having a Dress Down Day!
    For the Cost of $1,
    faculty and students can wear a
    Sumner spirit shirt and jeans.
    Jeans must not have any holes
    or frayed areas and be school appropriate.

    to take your picture. No hoodies, please!

    Homecoming Court Nominations will open on
    BlackBoard Monday morning at 7 a.m.
    and close Wednesday evening at 3 p.m.

  • Jamboree Tickets

    Jamboree tickets are
    on sale in the library.
    6 p.m. at Independence
    Tickets are $5 here and $7 at the gate.

  • Amber Lousteau Memorial Scholarship

    The Better Business Bureau of South Central Louisiana
    offers a $1,500 scholarship for Seniors. Students need
    to write a 500 word essay entitled "Why Ethics Matter".
    Students aslo need to submit 2 personal references and
    a letter of endorsement from a teacher, counselor, or
    principal. The deadline is September 30.

  • Student Council

    President and Vice President Candidates will pair up
    and campaign together for their positions.
    The office has intent to run forms.
    One of the two students campaigning will need
    to complete the form and return to the front office
    by Wednesday morning. There will be one
    secretary and one reporter selected to
    represent the entire school after the
    presendential elections are over.
