  • Beta Christmas Shoe Boxes
    Beta Christmas Shoe Boxes  
    Our Beta Club came together and encouraged the entire school
    to participate in packing shoe boxes full of Christams toys for the
    less fortunate. Mrs. Piner's Algebra I class played a big part in the donation
      ofthe shoe boxes. Overall, we've collected over 70 boxes!

  • Certified Nursing Assistant
    A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course
    will be offered in the Spring. There will be
    a two-week clinical portion at the end of the course.

  • Beta Food Drive
     
    Beta Food Drive
     
    On Thursday, October 30, 2014, the Beta Club delivered cans
    to the new ministry in Roseland. The Hope Center is a place
    where families can go get free food weekly. Families can also get
    clothing, furniture, and other donated items at a very great price.
    the students were also able to clean out storages and separate
    clothing for them to set up in the "store" side of the building.

    The portfolios for Student of the Year
    are due December 15.
    The interviews will be held December 18.

  • ASVAB Test
    The ASVAB test will be given in December.
     The date will be announced later. This is the Armed Services
    Vocational Aptitude Battery test. This test measures your strengths,
    weaknesses, and potential for future success. This test provides
    you with career information for various military occupations.
    It is free of charge for all juniors and seniors that are interested.

  • LSU Music and Dramatic Arts
    The School of Music in the College of Music and Dramatic Arts at
     Louisiana State Unversity announces the National Audition Weekend
    for prospective students! The weekend of January 30-31, 2015,
    will be your chance to meet LSU faculty, observe classes, rehearse
    with ensembles, and enjoy the Concert Spectacular performance.

    such as Social Security number, date of birth, etc.)

    Financial Assistance (LOSFA) for TOPS and
    other financial aid or to the states' colleges
    and universities (Institutions) for admissions. We
    will no longer provide your child's transcript data
    to LOSFA and the Institutions without your
    permission. This new law takes effect immediately.

    with SHS, Cowboys, or Cowgirls written
    on them. They come in navy blue and
    red and are on sale for $5 in the front office.
