"My
iPAQ experience today helped me to
remember why I teach. My son has
been bugging me to bring my iPAQs to
his 2nd grade class since I got
them. I have been procrastinating
because I have been so busy. I
finally relented and went. I
decided to bring a group of 6th
graders with me to help. I don't
know who learned more: me, the 2nd
graders, or the 6th graders! The
2nd graders were eager to learn and
the 6th graders were eager to
teach. When we were leaving
everyone involved was excited. My
6th graders were glowing because
they had helped the 2nd graders
learn. The 2nd graders were glowing
because they got to tap. Mrs.
Ronquillo was happy because the
iPAQs were a positive learning
experience for her students. I
think though in the end I was the
one who benefited the most! I
remember now why I teach. To
motivate, educate, and inspire
others to share the knowledge!
AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! The second
graders used Word Seeker, Flash
Math, and Sketchy."
