POLICY NOTIFICATION

 

The Tangipahoa Parish School System adheres to the equal opportunity provisions and the nondiscriminatory provisions of educational opportunities for children and employment and no person shall be denied the benefits of any education program or activity on the basis of race, color, age, national origin (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964); sex (Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972); or disabling condition (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973); The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 or veteran status in the pursuit of educational goals and objectives and in the administration of personnel policies and procedures.  All programs offered by schools within the school district shall be open to all students in compliance with statutory and judicial requirements.
