substitute activities. CONSIDERATIONS FOR DETERMINING EQUIVALENT ACTIVITIES (Provided by the SDE) When substituting activities, be sure that you are addressing the content of the activitiy (the GLEs). Teachers can teach ELA and math in any order. Teachers must
teach the Reading Essentials in order.
Teachers must teach the science and social
studies units in order.(The order in which activities within a unit are taught is not as critical as the order of the units for a course.
