TSW review letters of the alphabet through songs, rhymes, and letter flash cards.

M/GP:  Read aloud using the book Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse.   Discuss the book and the ways that Lily and the teacher felt.  Create a class circle map with Lily in the middle.  IP:  TSW discuss a time they felt like Lily.   Review classroom rules and compare to rules in Lily’s class.

M/GP:  Review the basic shapes.  Read Cubes, Cylinders, and Cones .  Discuss how these shapes are like the basic shapes.  Give students a blank tree map.  TTW  call out each shape to draw on the map (circle, square, rect., and triangle)  IP:  TSW cut out pictures and glue under the correct shape.  Workbook p. 118 (Act #4, p. 3) R and C

M/GP:  TSW explain the meaning of liquids.  TSW predict what happens to liquid if left out over time.   IP:  TSW write their name on the concrete by dipping a paintbrush in water.  Discuss what happened.

M/GP:  TTW introduce the Character Color People (Bossy Blue, etc)  Discuss how these people can change their behavior to be a “Happy” behavior.  Sing “If You’re Happy and You Know it”  using the happy behaviors.  IP:  TSW illustrate a happy behavior.
