This software is only available inside the Tangi network.  Your computer must be logged in with a local administrator account on a Windows XP computer for the software to install correctly. When the installation box pops up always click "RUN"... you might also see a black box pop up... just wait until the installation is finished and it will go away.

JPAMS - This software is used to manage student information, grades, attendance and discipline in Tangipahoa Parish Schools. This software cannot be installed or used outside of the TPSS Network. For specific instructions on installing JPAMS click here.



FasttMath usernames are all CAPS and passwords are all lowercase.

FasttMath - This software is available to 15 TPSS schools - Amite Ele., Chesbrough, D.C. Reeves, Hammond Eastside Primary, Hammond Eastside Upper, Hammond Westside Primary, Hammond Westside Upper, Independence Middle, Loranger Ele., Midway, Natalbany, O.W. Dillon, Roseland, Spring Creek, and Tucker, For specific instructions on installing FasttMath click here.

SAM - This is the teacher management software that goes along with FasttMath. For specific instructions on installing SAM, click here.

  


Office 2007 compatability pack - Download this compatibility pack to your computer that has Office 2003 and it will allow all of your 2007 Office documents to open with no problem.


Accelerated Reader 6.30 - Once you have downloaded AR to your computer by clicking the link above, you can click here for step-by-step directions for setting up AR on your classroom computer . This is the same procedure for all versions of Windows.


Thinking Maps (version 2.0) - The long awaited new version of Thinking Maps software can be installed on Windows XP computers ONLY in Tangipahoa Parish School System by clicking this link.  Just follow the directions to as the dialog box pops up.


Acrobat Reader - this plug-in is needed to open and read .PDF files. You must remove any older versions of Acrobat Reader before installing. If you have a Windows XP computer you will be installing Acrobat Reader 7.0... if your computer is Windows 98 you will be installing Acrobat Reader 6.0. Shockwave/Flash Player - Click here to install the latest versions of Flash and Shockwave on your computer.
Windows Media Player - This will install the latest version for your operating system. This is necessary for some of your software applications to work correctly.
 


Photo Story 3 - Bring your digital photos to life in amazing new ways. Create slideshows and special effects, soundtracks, and your own voice narration to your photo stories… then, personalize them with titles and captions.


AdAware SE 1.06 - this program detects and removes spyware that the internet and freeware/shareware programs install on your computer maliciously.  It is good used in conjunction with SpyBot.


Spybot 1.4 - this program scans for spyware, adware, hijackers and other malicious software. Good used in conjunction with AdAware.


eCleaner - this software will delete any traces of Internet History, Temporary Files, Cookies, Cache and more.


eTrust 8.1 - Parish-wide Anti-virus software package used for real-time detection and removal of all types of viruses.  This should be installed on every machine in the network.  Uninstall all other anti-virus packages (i.e. Norton, Command, etc.) before installing this software.


AClient - Network management software that allows administrators the ability to manage computers remotely.  Do not uninstall unless instructed to do so by the TPSS Technology Staff.


KidPix4 update - This update addresses the issue of not being able to update the QuickTime Installer.

AuthorWare 7 - this ActiveX plug-in is for use with the new SkillsTutor content and must be installed to use SkillsTutor.
