The luncheon focused on a healthy lunch since her class has been studying about the food pyramid and nutrition . The materials for the lessons have been provided by Southeastern and were purchased through a grant. The grandparents enjoyed a healthy lunch of chicken salad, salad, watermelon, angel food cake (sugar free) and peaches which was prepared by Mrs. Bayer and Mrs. Schilling. FISHING - HAMMOND HIGH STYLE

On Friday Sept. 25th as part of a learning unit, some Hammond High students got to experience a fishing and crabbing trip to Manchac, LA with Coach Jeremy Owen.  They spent the morning and part of the afternoon catching catfish, drum, redfish and crabs.  This was the first fishing/crabbing trip for many of the students.  Everyone had a great time.
