    Vibriyogn Epuri, a graduating senior at Hammond High Magnet School has been selected for the National 4-H GIS/GPS Leadership Team.

    Vibriyogn, 17, is the first student from Louisiana to compete at this national contest.

  • TPSS New Student Registration

    Registration for brand new students attending grades K-12 in Tangipahoa Parish School System for the 2017-18 school year will begin on Monday, April 3, 2017 at one of the TPSS Registration Centers. Click here to read the requirements and procedures for registration.

  • Petition for Diploma ACT 303


    Petition for High School Diploma (Act 303)

    Act 303 authorizes a person who is no longer enrolled in a public school but was identified as a student with a disability and who previously failed to receive a high school diploma or was denied graduation solely for failing to meet the state high school graduation exit examination requirements, to petition his or her city, parish, or other local public school board to receive a high school diploma.  Such petitions shall be submitted to Mrs. Cheryl Kirkland Braud, Director of Special Education by December 31, 2017.  Tangipahoa Parish School System will transmit diploma requests to the Louisiana Department of Education in accordance with LDOE procedures and guidelines.

Electronic Devices Policy

    The Board began implementation of the Alternate Student Assignment Plan approved by U.S. District Court Judge Ivan Lemelle on June 2, 2015.  The Alternate Student Assignment Plan is based upon adjustment of attendance zones, grade restructuring, and utilization of existing and new magnet programs, all designed to enhance educational opportunities and further the desegregation of the school system.
