Focused Learning Lessons
These Focused Learning Lessons were designed
for high school students to provide lessons geared toward their individual
needs. The lessons use effective methods to target specific content, are based
on the standards, benchmarks, and grade-level expectations, and may be used in
classes to assist students in learning content for Louisiana's high stakes
testing programs.

Louisiana Council of Teachers of English (LCTE)
The LCTE helps the teachers of English language arts,
grades kindergarten through graduate school, stay abreast of the latest changes
in the field and to help them enable their students to reach their greatest
potential.

promoting high levels of literacy for all by improving the quality of reading
