Assessments Schedule *updated September 16, 2009 |
Scantron Achievement Series Testing
The dates listed below represent the testing window for
each test. If you need to deviate from the schedule below, just let Mr.
Williams know. The window can be extended as needed. The idea is to test
as close to the completion of the units as possible.
Tests may be given in the computer lab or using the computer stations in each
classroom (where available).
Test Specifications: List of GLEs covered on each test.
Tests will be given in the following grades and subjects:
grades 2 - 8 ELA
grades
2 - 8 Math
grades 4 - 8 Science
Algebra I
Biology
Geometry

| Benchmark Test 3 | March 1 - 12, 2010 |
The final test will be the LEAP, iLEAP, GEE, GLEAP2, and EOC test for each
subject.
Benchmark test 4 will be available upon request.

Common Writing Assessments
This year the district is piloting district-wide
common writing assessments in grades 2 - 10. These assessments can be used by
school
data teams to improve writing. The writing will be done in English
classes using paper and pencil. The scores will not be recorded
online. The information is for teacher/data team use only.
Prompts and rubrics will be sent to
schools in advance of the assessment windows. If you need to deviate
from the schedule below, just let Mr. Williams know.

Series Testing
Priority schools will administer Scantron's
Performance Series Test as a pre- and post-test at selected grades.
