The Louisiana Department of Education has changed their website. They are in the process of uploading important information. Most of the documents that we have used in the past to assist with curriculum and testing are found under Library and Browse By Category. Here is a link to that page: http://www.louisianabelieves.com/resources/library/browse-by-category
Click here to access a page of best practices including a link to the NIET Best Practices Portal. If you have suggestions for best practices, please send to daniel.williams@tangischools.org.
The 2011-2012 Curriculum Maps are still available at this link for teachers to use as a resource for planning. Please note that standards in science and most social studies courses have not changed.
The transitional curriculum inlcudes the Grade Level Expectations that remain and the new Common Core State Standards that need to be added as we transition to full CCSS implementation in 14-15.
View the Common Core State Standards in one convenient FREE app! A great reference for students, parents, and teachers to easily read and understand the core standards. Quickly find standards by subject, grade, and subject category (domain/cluster). This app includes Math standards K-12 and Language Arts standards K-12. Math standards include both traditional and integrated pathways (as outlined in Appendix A of the common core) and synthesizes Language Arts standards with the Corresponding College and Career Readiness Standards (CCR's).
