I began my teaching career 18 years ago at Amite
Elementary School, where I also attended as a child.
I taught kindergarten for 12 years, Computer and
Technology for 5 years, and worked as Administrative
Assistant for 2 years. I have always loved
technology and used it in my classroom from the
beginning of my teaching career. As a school
tech I help teachers integrate technology into their
lessons from the Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum.
I have three kids and have been married to Wayne
Spears for 19 years. When I am not working I
am with my family, which is what I enjoy the most in
my life.
