I would like to welcome you to your child’s third grade year at Natalbany Elementary.  My name is Casey Foster, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Louisiana University.  I am looking forward to meeting you and working with your child this year.

As your child begins his/her third grade year, you must realize that it is a major change from second grade.  Standards are higher in order to ensure that your child is adequately prepared for the iLeap/Leap testing.  To have a clear idea of what this year entails, read over the Third Grade Procedures carefully, read our Weekly Newsletters sent home every Monday, and check our Class Website regularly to see what your child is learning.  Also, try to establish proper homework and study habits early on and keep up with them throughout the year.
