Students in Mr. Michael Martin’s Life Science class at Hammond Eastside Magnet, Madelene Pisciotta and Jacob Kinchen (pictured), are engaged in an earth worm dissection that took place recently. Students in Mr. Martin’s class learned about the external and internal anatomy of the animal, as well as understanding the structure and function of the external and internal organs. This will be the first in a series of dissections that will show how different animals’ organs will have different structures that fit their needs based on their environment.
