Course Description
Bring Your Own Device to this teacher training. "App"solutely iPad will cover the basic uses of the device, such as managing apps, exploring the Internet, and using the device as a teaching tool. Participants will explore different ways to utilize the iPad in the classroom and learn many tips and tricks to navigating their way through its many applications.
 
Participants will earn 2 Tech Points and 2 CLUs for participation.

Students (and teachers) employ technology thoughtfully to enhance their reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language use. They tailor their searches online to acquire useful information efficiently, and they integrate what they learn using technology with what they learn offline. They are familiar with the strengths and limitations of various technological tools and mediums and can select and use those best suited to their communication goals.

 This course is designed to introduce the iPad and its many functions to the classroom teacher.  The common core focuses on providing strategies to our students to utilize technology productively to explore, create, and produce.  During class, we will focus on the basics of operating the iPad, as well as look at ways in which you can integrate the technology into your curriculum for lesson enhancement.
