Loranger High School students display a banner with their School Peformance Score of 111.7. LHS is the top performing high school in TPSS and ranked in the top 22% in the state of Louisiana.
Leigh Lambert's and Cynthia Harrell's Pre-K students at Amite Elementary Magnet School had a visit from Jill Hutchinson of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Mounted Division for their Community Helpers Unit.
On September 24 and 25, twenty students from the Loranger FFA Chapter attended the 212/360 Leadership Conference in Lafayette, LA. This event is put on every year to help students reach their fullest potential in becoming a well-rounded leader. The event is put on by the Louisiana FFA Association and facilitated by National FFA instructors. All of the students had a great time and learned some great things to bring back to their chapter.
The Autistic Class at Ponchatoula Junior High took a walking field trip to Donuts-a-Go-Go for a Practical Life Exercise. The students each had $5.00 to spend. They were asked to make their order, pay for it, and receive their change by themselves. All students did so successfully. The reward was very yummy!
