WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE! Dear Parents, I would like to welcome you, your child, and your family to my class! I am happy to provide your child a safe and nurturing learning environment. This will be my fifth year of teaching. I have only taught first grade and I absolutely love it! I attended Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated in Elementary Education. I am married and have two children. I am committed to building a cooperative relationship with you, and focusing on your child’s education and development. The interest you show in your child’s work and progress is extremely important for his/her success in the classroom.
