PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Parish School Board of the Parish of Tangipahoa, Louisiana, acting as the governing authority of the Public School System of the Parish of Tangipahoa, and as the governing authority of all school districts in the Parish of Tangipahoa, Louisiana, to be held at the regular meeting place of said School Board, the School Board Meeting Room, School Board Office, 313 East Oak Street, Amite, Louisiana, at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th day of February 2003, in respect to the following items of business:

Consider approval of the Board Minutes of

Discuss a need to survey Science Teaching to determine
the following: (
· If adequate materials are being supplied to teach and conduct laboratory work.
· The frequency teachers are utilizing laboratory setting to teach (Lecturer Method/Theory vs. Laboratory/Practical Hands-on.
· How well former graduates pursuing college careers in Math/Science related areas are performing?
